چکیده
Today, the concept of single-phase concentrated solid solutions offers an alternative strategy for increasing radiation resistance materials, namely, a multi-element composition with equiatomic or nearly concentrations. It is highly desirable to understand relationship between chemical complexity alloys and thermal effects associated irradiation in order increase such materials. We present analysis heating, thermoelastic stresses density growth dislocations family Ni-based alloys: NiCo–NiFe–NiCoFe–NiCoCr–NiCoFeCr–NiCoFeMnCr exposed high-energy 145 MeV Kr ions performed by numerical modeling. The results show that alloys, especially NiCoFeMnCr, favors annealing defects, decreases level hazardous relative ultimate strength, reduces dislocation compared Ni.

Tailoring the physical properties of Ni-based single-phase equiatomic alloys by modifying the chemical complexity
Equiatomic alloys (e.g. high entropy alloys) have recently attracted considerable interest due to their exceptional properties, which might be closely related to their extreme disorder induced by the chemical complexity. In order to understand the effects of chemical complexity on their fundamental physical properties, a family of (eight) Ni-based, face-center-cubic (FCC), equiatomic alloys, ex...
متن کاملMechanism of Radiation Damage Reduction in Equiatomic Multicomponent Single Phase Alloys.
Recently a new class of metal alloys, of single-phase multicomponent composition at roughly equal atomic concentrations ("equiatomic"), have been shown to exhibit promising mechanical, magnetic, and corrosion resistance properties, in particular, at high temperatures. These features make them potential candidates for components of next-generation nuclear reactors and other high-radiation enviro...
متن کاملMulticomponent and High Entropy Alloys
This paper describes some underlying principles of multicomponent and high entropy alloys, and gives some examples of these materials. Different types of multicomponent alloy and different methods of accessing multicomponent phase space are discussed. The alloys were manufactured by conventional and high speed solidification techniques, and their macroscopic, microscopic and nanoscale structure...

Materials performance is central to the satisfactory operation of current and future nuclear energy systems due to the severe irradiation environment in reactors. Searching for structural materials with excellent irradiation tolerance is crucial for developing the next generation nuclear reactors. Here, we report the irradiation responses of a novel multi-component alloy system, high entropy al...
متن کاملOptical properties and electronic structures of B2 and B19′ phases of equiatomic Ni-Ti alloys
The dielectric functions of equiatomic Ni-Ti alloys were measured by spectroscopic ellipsometry in the energy range of 1.5–5.4 eV at ∼423 and at ∼25 K. The peak at ∼2.26 eV in the B19′ (monoclinic structure) optical conductivity spectrum has a slightly larger magnitude than in the B2 (cubic CsCl structure) phase, while the shoulder at ∼3.5 eVbecomes weaker and almost indiscernible upon martensi...
